Ballooning Software – Viswa IR Gen – Merge and Split Imported Dimension Text

Ballooning Software Viswa IR Gen allows you to Import Dimension Texts Automatically from Text Searchable PDF Files and will enable you to merge and split them.

Merge and Split Dimensions

When you import the Drawing to Viswa IR Gen File, if PDF is Text Searchable PDF, then there are possibilities that dimension, which is too close, might have been imported as a single Dimension. Similarly, if the dimension texts are apart, Single Dimension might have been imported as multiple dimensions.

Also, there will be some dimensions for which you want to assign multiple dimensions.

In such cases, you have to Merge Dimensions or Split dimension to match the Balloon value and tools provided in Viswa IR Gen to get the result fast.

To Split Dimensions:

In case of specific dimensions, it will become necessary to split it into different balloons, for example, Specification of a Thread -> M12-6H 32min deep as shown below.

In the specified thread, M12-6H is the specification, and 32min is the hole depth. So, a split option is made available to break a single line dimension into two or more dimensions and balloon them separately.

Select the dimension and click Split Dimension. In the screen that opens, move the scroller until you get the required dimension value and click Split, as shown below. Click Save.

The dimension is split and will be available in the grid as shown below.

To Merge Dimensions:

The provision to merge two dimensions into a single dimension for any functional purpose is also available or represent the same feature or the same base dimension.

Select multiple dimension which is to be merged and click Merge Dimensions.

Check the preview and add Separator if necessary. Use the arrows to update the positions of the dimensions as required. Click Save.

The dimensions will get merged and will be available in the grid as shown below.
